Telangana Sepaktakraw Association State President Perika Suresh has called on students across the state to actively participate in the upcoming CM Cup 2024, a multi-sport event aimed at nurturing top-tier athletes. The competition, organized by the Telangana Sports Authority, will feature 36 sports and progress through four levels: rural, mandal, district, and state.
The schedule for CM Cup 2024 was unanimously approved in a meeting chaired by Telangana Sports Authority Vice Chairman and Managing Director Sonibala Devi on Friday. Highlighting the event’s importance, Perika Suresh encouraged students to seize this opportunity to excel in sports, potentially paving their way to national and international platforms.
Competition Schedule:
Rural Level: December 7–8
Mandal Level: December 10–12
District Level: December 16–21
State Level: December 27–January 2, in Hyderabad
Speaking at the event, Suresh emphasized that the CM Cup 2024 provides a unique platform for budding athletes to showcase their talents. He urged schools across the state to ensure maximum participation, stating that such events are stepping stones for achieving success in sports careers.
Telangana Sports Authority Deputy Director G. Ravinder, Sepaktakraw Association Secretary Srinivas Reddy, Treasurer Vikesh, and other key officials also participated in the meeting.
With over a month to prepare, the sports community is optimistic about making CM Cup 2024 a grand success, contributing to the growth of sports in Telangana.
