As part of the Karthika Brahmotsavam festivities, a grand Snapa Thirumanjanam ceremony was conducted on Friday at the Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple in Tiruchanur. Held in the *Sri Krishnaswamy Mukha Mandapam, the event took place from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM in a beautifully crafted mandapam adorned with flowers and fruits, in accordance with the *Pancharatra Agama Shastra.

Ceremonial Highlights

The event, organized under the guidance of *Kankanabhattar Srinivasa Acharya, began with **Vishvaksena Aradhana, **Punyahavachana, **Navakalashabhishekam, and **Rajopacharam. These were followed by rituals including **Chhatra Chamara, **Vyajana Darpanadi, and offerings of facial cleansing and incense. The goddess was bathed in a divine sequence using **milk, curd, honey, coconut water, turmeric, and sandalwood paste. Additional rituals included **Shankhadhara, **Chakradhara, **Sahasradhara, and the *Mahakumbhabhishekam.

Seven Unique Garlands

One of the ceremony’s highlights was the decoration of the goddess with seven distinct garlands, including:

  1. Peacock feathers
  2. Palm seeds
  3. Pineapple
  4. Rose petals
  5. Gooseberries
  6. Basil leaves
  7. Colored stones

Each garland was presented individually, creating a mesmerizing display of devotion and artistry.

Mandapam Decorated with Fruits and Flowers

The Sri Krishnamukha Mandapam was transformed into a visual masterpiece, thanks to the hard work of 20 TTD garden staff who toiled for two days. It was adorned with a vibrant array of flowers and fruits, including red and green apples, corn, guava, oranges, and other seasonal produce, impressing devotees with its intricate design and vibrancy.

Temple-Wide Floral Decorations

Other parts of the temple, such as the *Dhvaja Mandapam, Garbhalayam, Sri Krishna Swamy Temple, Sri Sundararaja Swamy Temple, Vahana Mandapam, and **Asthana Mandapam, were also decorated with flowers by the **TTD Garden Department. Under the supervision of *Garden Deputy Director Sri Srinivasulu, around 70 staff members worked tirelessly for three days to create stunning floral displays.

Dignitaries and Participants

The ceremony was graced by *TTD JEO Gauthami, Superintendent *Ramesh, and other officials, along with a large number of devotees who marveled at the divine spectacle.

This Snapa Thirumanjanam, with its grandeur and meticulous arrangements, was a special treat for devotees, adding to the spiritual and festive fervor of the Karthika Brahmotsavam celebrations.
