The much-awaited film Pushpa-2: The Rule has created history in Indian cinema, breaking multiple records just two days after its release. To celebrate this monumental achievement, the film’s team organized a grand success meet in Hyderabad, attended by lead actor Allu Arjun, director Sukumar, producers Naveen and Ravi Shankar, and key members of the production team.

The event began with director Sukumar expressing his gratitude and acknowledging the hard work and dedication of his team. He introduced each member of the direction team, highlighting their crucial roles in the film’s success. His heartfelt words set the tone for the evening, emphasizing the teamwork and camaraderie that contributed to the film’s record-breaking triumph.

Allu Arjun, affectionately known as the Icon Star, then took the stage and delivered an emotional speech. He began by simply saying, “Thank You, India… That’s all I have to say today,” a statement that conveyed his immense gratitude. Arjun thanked the technicians, artists, and producers Naveen, Ravi Shankar, and Cherry for believing in the project and investing heavily to bring it to fruition.

“All the technicians, artists, producers Naveen, Ravi Shankar, and Cherry—thank you for believing in us and investing in this film,” Arjun said. However, he was quick to credit director Sukumar as the true hero of the film. “No matter how much appreciation I, the producers, or the artists receive, the real hero is Sukumar. Darling (Sukumar), you elevated me to such heights. I’m not saying this out of pride but with genuine gratitude,” he added, his voice filled with emotion.

The actor also addressed the cultural impact of Pushpa-2: The Rule, reflecting on the film’s record-breaking box office success. “I’m not sure about the exact figures, but I’m deeply moved by how this film has resonated with so many. It’s an honor to see our work recognized as India’s top-grossing movie,” Arjun shared. He extended his heartfelt thanks to the Telugu film industry, the audiences, and movie lovers worldwide, emphasizing that the collective effort of everyone involved had brought the film to such extraordinary heights.

The celebratory mood was slightly tempered by a tragic incident that occurred during the film’s premiere at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre. A woman named Revathi tragically lost her life during the event. Arjun expressed his sorrow, saying, “We make movies for audiences to come and enjoy, but hearing about such a tragedy deeply saddens me.” He announced that the team had provided financial assistance of ₹25 lakh to Revathi’s family and assured them of continued support. “We stand with them in this difficult time,” he added.

Producer Ravi Shankar also addressed the gathering, sharing insights into the film’s success. He revealed that the two-day worldwide gross collection of Pushpa-2: The Rule had exceeded ₹500 crore, surpassing their earlier estimate of ₹449 crore. “This success wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of the audience and the invaluable assistance of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh,” Shankar said.

Pushpa-2: The Rule has not only shattered box office records but has also become a cultural phenomenon. The grand success meet in Hyderabad reflected the overwhelming response from fans, industry professionals, and critics alike. With its unprecedented success, the film has firmly established its place in Indian cinema history, showcasing the global impact of regional storytelling.
