Hyderabad, December 8: Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, who recently tied the knot at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, took to social media to share cherished moments from their much-anticipated wedding. The couple posted their first official wedding pictures on Instagram, captioning them in Telugu.
One of the standout images features Sobhita lovingly holding Naga’s face, a heartwarming moment that captivated fans. The series of pictures also showcased various rituals, including the traditional ‘Havan’ and ‘Jaimala’ ceremonies. During the playful ‘Jaimala’ exchange, the couple shared a lighthearted moment as they tried to garland each other, neither willing to give in easily.
Earlier, Naga’s father, Nagarjuna Akkineni, shared special moments from the wedding on social media, expressing heartfelt gratitude. He wrote, “My heart is overflowing with gratitude. To the media, thank you for your understanding and for giving us the space to cherish this beautiful moment. Your thoughtful respect and kind wishes have added to our joy.”
Following their wedding, the couple visited the revered Srisailam Temple in Andhra Pradesh, accompanied by Nagarjuna. They reportedly performed the ‘Rudrabhishek’ ritual as part of their temple visit, seeking blessings for their new journey together.
The wedding, held on December 5, 2024, was an intimate yet star-studded affair. Luminaries from the entertainment and sports world graced the occasion, including Chiranjeevi, PV Sindhu, Nayanthara, Jr. NTR, Ram Charan with Upasana Konidela, and Mahesh Babu with Namrata Shirodkar. With the Akkineni and Daggubati families uniting, it was a grand celebration of love and tradition.
Annapurna Studios, the wedding venue, holds a special significance for the Akkineni family and the Telugu film industry. Founded by Naga Chaitanya’s grandfather, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, the iconic studio spans 22 acres in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, and is a testament to Tollywood’s rich history.
