
Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatraya Pays Tribute to Mata Savitribai Phule
Chandigarh, January 3, 2025: Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatraya on Friday paid floral tributes to Mata Savitribai Phule on her birth anniversary at Haryana Raj Bhavan, Chandigarh. Remembering her as a trailblazer for social justice and education, he lauded her lifelong fight against caste-based discrimination and her advocacy for the rights of marginalized communities.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Dattatraya highlighted Savitribai Phule’s enduring contributions to Indian society. “Mata Savitribai Phule was not only India’s first female teacher but also a beacon of hope and empowerment. Her commitment to education and social reform continues to inspire generations,” he said.
