Infrastructure Development
The Chief Minister outlined several infrastructure projects to strengthen Hyderabad’s resilience and boost connectivity:
Flood-Free Hyderabad: Efforts are underway to address natural disasters, including a revival of the Musi River to ensure 55 kilometers of fresh water flow and enhanced flood control.
Future-Ready Water Supply: Projects addressing Hyderabad’s drinking water needs until 2050 have already begun.

Regional Ring Road (RRR): Plans for a 360 km-long regional ring road are in progress, with radial roads connecting the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and RRR to enhance intra-city and regional connectivity.
Regional Ring Railway: A new railway network around the RRR is also being planned.
Industrial and Economic Growth
Reddy emphasized Hyderabad’s role as a hub for high-value industries. The area between the ORR and RRR will house industries like pharma, life sciences, aerospace, defense, electric vehicles (EVs), and solar energy.
“We are creating a robust ecosystem for manufacturing and industrial growth while focusing on skill development and job creation,” he said.
Additionally, a dry port with a dedicated road and rail link to Bandar Port in Andhra Pradesh will be developed to boost Telangana’s trade capabilities.

EV Revolution
Telangana is leading the EV adoption race in India, with initiatives such as:
Deployment of 3,200 electric buses in the RTC fleet.
Exemption of registration and road tax for electric vehicles.
Rapid growth in EV sales across the state.
Rural and Agricultural Focus
The Chief Minister reaffirmed the state’s commitment to rural development by promoting organic farming, establishing cold storage facilities, and building warehouses outside the ORR.

Call for Investments
Reddy extended an invitation to investors, promising the “highest ease of doing business in the world” and outlining Telangana’s vision to become a global economic leader.
“We want our economy to grow, our markets to thrive, and our people to prosper. Come, join us in investing in Telangana. Together, we will create wonders,” he concluded.
The speech reflects Telangana’s ambition to balance urban and rural development while positioning Hyderabad as a global city of the future.
