TTD Introduces Vada to Annaprasadam Menu for Devotees at Tirumala
TIRUMALA, March 7: Devotees visiting the sacred Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple now have an additional dish to relish as part of the Annaprasadam offerings. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) introduced vada to the menu at the Matrushri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex, further enriching the free meal services provided to pilgrims.
The inaugural serving of vadas took place today at 10:30 AM, with TTD Chairman personally distributing them to devotees. The move aims to enhance the Annaprasadam experience, which has been a significant aspect of the temple’s hospitality for visiting pilgrims.
The TTD, known for its extensive arrangements to cater to millions of devotees, continuously strives to improve the Annaprasadam offerings. The addition of vada—a crispy, deep-fried delicacy—has been welcomed by devotees, adding variety to the existing meal options.
The Matrushri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex serves thousands of devotees daily, offering free meals as part of the temple’s commitment to seva (service). The inclusion of vadas reflects TTD’s ongoing efforts to ensure nutritious and satisfying food for devotees seeking the blessings of Sri Venkateswara Swamy.
TTD officials stated that the Annaprasadam program will continue to be expanded and refined, keeping in mind the needs and preferences of the devotees.
