Pawan Kalyan’s “Hari Hara Veera Mallu” Gears Up for Worldwide Release on May 9, 2025

After years of anticipation, delays, and sky-high expectations, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is ready to storm back onto the big screen with his most ambitious project yet—“Hari Hara Veera Mallu,” set to release on May 9, 2025.

Directed by A.M. Jyothi Krishna, the historical action spectacle is set in the Mughal era, chronicling the story of Veera Mallu, a rebellious outlaw assigned the dangerous mission of stealing the Koh-i-Noor diamond from the Mughals. The film will showcase Pawan Kalyan in a never-before-seen avatar, promising action, drama, and grandeur at an epic scale.

“Expect the unexpected, as the one and only @PawanKalyan garu brings the legend to life!” wrote director A.M. Jyothi Krishna in a post earlier, expressing his awe over the performances in the film.

Back in March, the director also lauded Bobby Deol, who plays Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, calling his performance “speechless” and “powerful.” The film boasts an ensemble cast featuring Nidhhi Agerwal as Panchami, alongside Satyaraj, Nargis Fakhri, Nora Fatehi, Vikramjeet Virk, Jisshu Sengupta, Pujita Ponnada, Dalip Tahil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Sachin Khedekar, and Raghu Babu in pivotal roles.

Adding to the film’s grandeur is the creative powerhouse team behind it. Oscar-winning composer M.M. Keeravani has scored the music, while cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa and National Award-winning art director Thota Tharani have elevated the film’s visual and period authenticity.

Despite pandemic-induced delays and Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments, the project is now in its final leg of post-production and is poised for a massive overseas and domestic theatrical release.

Presented by A.M. Rathnam and produced by A. Dayakar Rao under Mega Surya Productions, “Hari Hara Veera Mallu” is expected to be one of the biggest pan-India releases of 2025, uniting fans across languages and geographies for a historical adventure like never before.
