Hyderabad, May 23, 2025: It was a night of rhythm, grace, and global unity as the Miss World 2025 Talent Round lit up the Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad. From soulful songs to cultural dances and unexpected surprises, the 24 finalists left the audience in awe—but it was Miss Indonesia who stole the show.

Monika Kezia Sembiring, representing Indonesia, emerged as the undisputed star of the evening. Her breathtaking piano performance was a rollercoaster of emotions, blending everything from the Bollywood classic Kuch Kuch Hota Hai to Balinese traditional melodies, upbeat salsa and samba beats, and the viral track Golden Hour. Her act, themed ‘Unity in Motion,’ earned a standing ovation—and the top spot in the round.

Hot on her heels was Miss Cameroon, Issie Princess, whose soulful rendition of Goodness of God moved many to tears, securing her second place. In third was Miss Italy, Chiara Esposito, who captivated the judges with a flawless ballet piece that seemed to float on air.

Though she didn’t make the top three, Miss India, Nandini Gupta, brought the house down with a high-energy Garba performance to Dhol Bhaje, celebrating the colors and rhythm of Indian tradition.

Stage of Stars, Fusion of Cultures

The evening wasn’t just a competition—it was a global celebration. Miss Nigeria, Joy Mojisola Rami, brought a burst of energy with her Bollywood-African fusion dance to the Telugu track Ranu Mumbai Ki Ranu, while Miss USA, Anthena Crosby, enchanted with her vocal magic. Miss Netherlands, Jen Neester, took creativity to the next level with a pre-recorded ice-skating routine, and Miss Kenya, Grace Ramtu, turned the stage into a nightclub with her live DJ set. Ethiopia’s Hasset Dereje Admasso gave a powerful vocal performance of Man’s World, adding a strong emotional note to the lineup.

The night wrapped with a pulsating group dance to Ranu Mumbai Ki Ranu, followed by a lively DJ session that had everyone on their feet—contestants, organizers, and guests alike.

With India’s cultural spirit as the backdrop and global talents at the forefront, the evening was a perfect prelude to the grand finale scheduled for May 31 at Hyderabad’s Hitech Exhibition Centre.

As for Miss Indonesia, her spectacular win in the Talent Round now places her firmly in the Top 10 of her continental group—bringing her one step closer to the Miss World crown.
