Actor Shefali Jariwala Passes Away at 42 Due to Suspected Cardiac Arrest
Mumbai, June 28, 2025:
Popular actor and reality show star Shefali Jariwala, best known for her appearance in the iconic music video ‘Kaanta Laga’ and her participation in Bigg Boss 13, passed away late Friday night at the age of 42.
According to reports, Shefali suffered a cardiac arrest late in the night. Her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, immediately rushed her to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead. Subsequently, her body was transferred to Cooper Hospital around 12:30 AM for postmortem examination.
The Mumbai Police and a forensic team are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding her sudden demise. The Assistant Medical Officer (AMO) at Cooper Hospital stated that the body was received from another hospital and that the exact cause of death will be confirmed after the postmortem report.
Shefali Jariwala rose to fame with ‘Kaanta Laga’ in the early 2000s and continued to appear in films and popular television shows over the years, earning a dedicated fan base for her performances. Her sudden passing has left the entertainment industry and her fans in shock.
