Allu Sirish Opens Up on His Love Story with Nayanika: “That’s How I Met Your Mother”
Mumbai: Actor Allu Sirish took to social media on Saturday to wish Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi a happy second wedding anniversary — and in doing so, shared a heartfelt glimpse into his own love story with fiancée Nayanika.
Sirish wrote,
“Back in October 2023, when Varun and Lavanya were getting married, Nitin and @shalinikandukuri hosted a party for them. Shalini invited her best friend Nayanika to the celebration. That night was the first time Nayanika and I truly met.”
He continued,
“And now, two years later, we’re happily in love and engaged. Someday, when my kids ask me how it all began, I’ll tell them — ‘That’s how I met your mother.’”
Extending his wishes to the couple, Sirish added,
“Wishing the lovely couple, @varunkonidela7 and @itsmelavanya, a very happy second anniversary!”
He also expressed gratitude to Nayanika’s friends, saying,
“A big thank you to all of Nayanika’s friends who welcomed me into their circle and made me feel loved from day one!”
Just a day earlier, on October 31, Sirish announced his engagement to Nayanika on social media, posting beautiful pictures from the ceremony with the caption,
“I am finally and happily engaged to the love of my life, Nayanika.”
The post quickly went viral, drawing an outpouring of love and congratulations from fans and film industry colleagues.
The engagement ceremony was an intimate yet elegant affair attended by members of the Allu and Konidela families, including Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan and Upasana, as well as Varun Tej and Lavanya.
Both Sirish and Nayanika looked picture-perfect for the occasion — Sirish donned a custom Manish Malhotra ensemble, while Nayanika dazzled in a Sabyasachi lehenga, blending traditional Telugu aesthetics with modern elegance. The photos from the celebration radiated warmth, love, and laughter.
On the professional front, Allu Sirish made his debut with the bilingual film “Gouravam” (2013) and went on to star in popular Telugu films such as “Kotha Janta” (2014), “Srirastu Subhamastu” (2016), “Okka Kshanam” (2017), and “ABCD: American Born Confused Desi” (2019).
Sirish is the younger brother of South Indian superstar Allu Arjun.
