TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh begins Yuvagalam Padayatra in Penukonda constituency, Andhra Pradesh
TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh commenced his Yuvagalam padayatra in the Penukonda constituency of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. The 53-day-long padayatra aims to connect with the youth of the region and address their concerns ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
During the yatra, Lokesh is expected to cover a distance of over 2,000 kilometers, visiting several villages and towns in the Penukonda constituency. He will interact with the locals and listen to their grievances, with a focus on issues related to education, employment, and agriculture.
Lokesh, who is also a former Minister for Information Technology, is considered to be a prominent face of the TDP in Andhra Pradesh. The party is gearing up for the Assembly elections scheduled to be held in 2024 and hopes that Lokesh’s padayatra will help them connect with the youth and garner support.
