A. Gouraiah, an 81-year-old retired officer from Khadi Village Industries, recently visited his hometown Mahabubabad, which is located 205 km from Secunderabad. During his visit, he took a trip down memory lane and fondly recollected his childhood memories.
Gouraiah shared that he has beautiful memories of the railway station in his hometown where he spent his teenage years. He and his family used to supply 50 liters of milk daily to the railway canteen. He added that the trains used to stop for a couple of extra minutes to take the famous Hyderabad tea. However, Gouraiah’s journey was quite painful due to his arthritis, which had caused a noticeable bend in his knees. Despite this, he enjoyed meeting his relatives and friends and shared his joy about his status.
Gouraiah’s trip down memory lane was a reminder of the simple yet meaningful experiences that shape our lives.
