The prestigious honor will be conferred on March 19, acknowledging his decades-long impact on Indian cinema and his influence beyond the silver screen.

Chiranjeevi’s Illustrious Career
Born as Konidela Siva Sankara Vara Prasad on August 22, 1955, in Mogalthur, Andhra Pradesh, Chiranjeevi developed an early passion for acting. After training at the Madras Film Institute, he made his debut with the film Punadhirallu in 1978. However, it was Pranam Khareedu that first introduced him to audiences.
Over the years, Chiranjeevi established himself as the Megastar of Indian cinema, delivering numerous blockbuster hits such as Khaidi (1983), Indra (2002), Tagore (2003), and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy (2019). His ability to blend action, dance, and emotion has set him apart as one of the greatest actors in the industry.

Apart from films, Chiranjeevi briefly entered politics, founding the Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) in 2008. Later, he merged his party with the Indian National Congress and served as the Union Minister of Tourism from 2012 to 2014.
