Grand Inauguration of GTA Mega Convention 2025 Brings Global Telangana Diaspora Together in Hyderabad

The much-anticipated GTA Mega Convention 2025, organised by the (GTA), began on a grand and vibrant note in Hyderabad, uniting Telangana people from across the world on a single platform. The prestigious two-day convention is being held on December 27 and 28 at , drawing thousands of delegates and guests from more than 30 countries.9
The inaugural ceremony witnessed the presence of several eminent dignitaries and public representatives, adding stature to the global gathering. Spiritual leader blessed the event, while Union Minister , State Minister , MLC , MP , and former ministers , , and graced the dais. Former MLAs and were also among the distinguished attendees.
Addressing the gathering, GTA Founder and Global Chairman said the convention was not merely a celebratory event but a strategic initiative to channel the intellectual strength, professional expertise, and investment potential of the Non-Resident Telangana community for the state’s future growth. He noted that GTA aims to act as a bridge between Telangana and its global citizens, fostering collaboration in education, technology, healthcare, startups, and social development.
The strong organisational backbone of the convention was reflected in the presence of key GTA leaders, including USA Founder Chairman , India President , President-Elect , Advisory Chair , Co-Founder , USA President , and Washington President .
Cultural & Entertainment Extravaganza
The first day of the convention turned into a cultural spectacle, celebrating Telangana’s rich heritage and artistic legacy. Over 100 artists presented traditional folk and classical dance forms, captivating the international audience. Popular folk singer enthralled the crowd with a high-energy live musical night, while playback singer delivered a special performance. A grand entertainment show by added glamour and excitement to the celebrations.
Guests were also treated to a lavish culinary experience featuring 35 varieties of authentic Telangana cuisine, reflecting the state’s unique food culture. Another major attraction was the “GTA Fashion Show 2025”, which showcased Telangana’s traditional attire and handloom heritage on a global stage.
Vision-Focused Deliberations on Day Two
The second day of the convention is dedicated to knowledge-sharing and future planning, with masterclasses and panel discussions on real estate, startups, NRI legal concerns, healthcare innovations, and emerging technologies. Special sessions under the “Telangana Rising 2047” vision will focus on long-term state development, global partnerships, and investment opportunities, encouraging NRIs to actively participate in Telangana’s growth story.
The convention will conclude on the evening of December 28 with a grand valedictory ceremony, featuring Lifetime Achievement Awards, oath-taking of the new GTA leadership, and a spectacular live concert.
