Quest Asia – Gifts & Stationery India Expo Opens at HITEX, Showcasing India’s Booming Corporate Gifting Market

Hyderabad, February 7:
The Quest Asia – Gifts & Stationery India Expo was inaugurated on Friday at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, highlighting the rapid expansion of India’s corporate gifting and stationery sector. The exhibition is being held in Hall No. 1 and has drawn strong participation from industry leaders, corporate buyers, and the general public.

The expo was formally opened by Dr. K. Suresh Kumar, President of Aurobindo Pharma Associates, in the presence of Rakhi Mukherjee, Founder Director of Expo Galaxia Pvt Ltd. Other dignitaries present included T.G. Srikanth, Praveen Upadhyay, President of GACS, along with several industry representatives and delegates.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. K. Suresh Kumar underlined the impressive growth of the corporate gifting industry in India. He stated that the sector has reached an estimated value of $75 billion (approximately ₹6.25 lakh crore) and is expected to expand further to around $90 billion within the next two years. He attributed this growth largely to Hyderabad’s rise as a major IT and corporate hub, which has strengthened the culture of corporate gifting across sectors.

He pointed out that Telangana is home to more than 500 software and IT companies, over 2,400 pharmaceutical firms and laboratories, in addition to numerous banking institutions and multinational corporations. This strong industrial and corporate ecosystem has transformed corporate gifting into a thriving multi-crore business, with growing demand for innovative, customized, and premium products.

Speaking on the occasion, Rakhi Mukherjee said the expo has been designed to cater not only to corporate buyers but also to individual consumers. She noted that the exhibition features exhibitors from across the country and presents a wide spectrum of products, ranging from corporate and promotional gifts, leather goods, travel bags, T-shirts, smartwatches, storage solutions, school and office stationery, to decorative items, lifestyle products, healthcare goods, handicrafts, and branded merchandise.

She added that the offerings span from budget-friendly items to high-end premium products, making the expo relevant for corporate gifting, personal use, and school and office requirements alike.

The expo, being held under the banner of Quest Asia, will continue until February 8 (Sunday). It has already witnessed strong footfall from software professionals, representatives of multinational companies, business owners, and everyday visitors. Many exhibitors are showcasing innovative designs and customizable solutions aligned with evolving market trends.

Organized by Expo Galaxia Pvt Ltd, the Gifts & Stationery India Expo has emerged as an important platform for networking, business expansion, and trend discovery in the gifting and stationery industry. The enthusiastic response from visitors and exhibitors reflects the growing vitality of the sector, particularly in southern India, and underscores Hyderabad’s position as a key destination for trade exhibitions and corporate business events.
