Hyderabad March 30:
The Telangana state government is nearing completion of the construction of a big-sized statue of Dr B.R. Ambedkar. The statue, which is made of steel and bronze, stands tall at 125-feet and is being installed on a site spread over 11.5 acres in Hyderabad. The project also includes the construction of a museum, and the government plans to inaugurate the complex on April 14, 2023, which marks the birth anniversary of Dr. Ambedkar.

The construction work is progressing at a fast pace, and the statue is set to become the tallest statue of the Constitution maker in the country. The project site is located adjacent to the Hussainsagar lake, and once completed, it is expected to become a major tourist attraction in the city.
