Hyderabad, June 8:

The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) on Monday officially released the counselling schedule for TG EAPCET-2026 admissions into engineering, pharmacy, and other professional courses across the state for the academic year 2026-27.

The schedule was finalised during the TG EAPCET-2026 Admissions Committee meeting held under the chairmanship of Prof. V. Balakista Reddy, Chairman, Telangana Council of Higher Education. Commissioner of Technical Education and Convenor of TG EAPCET-2026 Admissions, A. Sridevasena, IAS, and other committee members attended the meeting.

First Phase Counselling

The first phase of counselling will commence with online filing of basic information, payment of processing fee and slot booking for certificate verification from June 19 to June 28.

Certificate verification for candidates who book slots will be conducted from June 22 to June 29. Candidates can exercise web options from June 25 to July 1, while the last date for freezing options is July 1.

A mock seat allocation will be displayed on or before July 4. Candidates will be allowed to modify their web options between July 5 and July 7 before final freezing of options on July 7.

The first phase seat allotment will be announced on or before July 10, and candidates must complete tuition fee payment and self-reporting through the website between July 10 and July 14.

Second Phase

The second phase counselling for candidates who did not participate in the first phase will begin on July 17 with registration and slot booking.

Certificate verification will be held on July 18, while web options can be exercised from July 18 to July 19. The options exercised in the first phase will not be considered, and candidates must exercise fresh options.

The second phase seat allotment will be announced on or before July 22. Tuition fee payment and self-reporting must be completed between July 22 and July 24.

Candidates allotted seats in the second phase are required to physically report at their allotted colleges from July 25 to July 28. The last date for cancellation is July 28.

Officials clarified that physical reporting after second-phase allotment is mandatory. Candidates must submit Xerox copies of certificates along with the original Transfer Certificate (TC) at the allotted college and obtain an acknowledgement.

Final Phase

The final phase counselling will begin on July 31 for candidates who did not attend either of the earlier phases.

Certificate verification will be conducted on August 1, while fresh web options can be exercised from August 1 to August 2. The final phase seat allotment will be announced on or before August 5.

Candidates must pay tuition fees and complete self-reporting between August 5 and August 7. Students who receive a change of branch or college must report to their institutions during the same period.

The last date for updating joining details by colleges is August 8.

Internal Sliding

The Convenor will conduct centralized internal sliding from August 12 to August 13, allowing students to opt for other branches within the same college.

Seat allotment under internal sliding will be announced on or before August 15, while candidates can download new allotment orders and report to their new branches between August 16 and August 17.

Spot Admissions

Guidelines for spot admissions in university colleges, constituent colleges and private unaided engineering colleges will be released on August 16 through the official website.

Classes from August 1

According to the schedule, classwork for the academic year 2026-27 will commence from August 1, 2026, in accordance with the AICTE academic calendar.

The authorities also clarified that Category-A and Category-B admissions will be conducted simultaneously.

Students are advised to regularly visit the official TG EAPCET admissions portal for detailed notifications, certificates required for verification, and counselling updates.
