Hyderabad April 1
YS Sharmila, founder president of YSRTP, has reportedly made a phone call to BJP state president Bandi Sanjay and PCC chief Revanth Reddy. According to sources, during the conversation, Sharmila urged the opposition parties to join hands and fight together on the issue of unemployment in the state.
Sharmila allegedly expressed her readiness for joint action and dismissed the call for the Pragati Bhavan march as false. She further emphasized that KCR’s neck should be bowed, indicating that the opposition should unite. She warned that KCR will not let the opposition survive in Telangana unless they fight together.
In response to Sharmila’s call, Bandi Sanjay expressed his support to fight together and suggested that they meet soon. He also assured full support for a joint fight against unemployment. Similarly, Revanth Reddy echoed the need for opposition parties to fight together but said that they should discuss and take a decision within the party.
This development comes amidst increasing political activity in the state ahead of the 2023 assembly elections. It remains to be seen how the opposition parties will respond to Sharmila’s call for joint action.
