Traffic Restrictions and Diversions Notified for Sri Hanuman Jayanthi Vijaya Yathra
Hyderabad April 4:The Hyderabad City Police Department has announced traffic restrictions and diversions for the Sri Hanuman Jayanthi Vijaya Yathra procession, to be held on April 6th, 2023, from 11:30 am onwards. The procession will commence from Gowliguda Ram Mandir and will culminate at Hanuman Mandir Tadbund, Secunderabad, covering a distance of 12 kilometers.
To ensure a smooth flow of traffic and prevent inconvenience to the public, the Commissioner of Police, C.V. Anand, IPS, has notified the following traffic restrictions and diversions along the procession route: Gowliguda, Ram Mandir, Putlibowli X roads, Andhra Bank X roads, Koti, DM & HS, Sultan Bazar X Roads, Ramkoti X roads, Kachiguda X roads, Narayanguda YMCA, Chikkadpally X Roads, RTC X roads, Ashok Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, backside Viceroy Hotel, Praga Tools, Kavadiguda, CGO Towers, Bansilalpet Road, Bible house, City Light Hotel, Bata Showroom, Ujjaini Mahankali Temple, Old Ramgopalpet PS, Paradise X Roads, CTO Junction, Lee Royal Palace, Brooke Bond, Imperial Garden, Mastan Cafe, and a left turn towards Sree Hanuman Temple Tadbund.
Another procession, starting from Karmanghat Hanuman temple under the Rachakonda Commissionerate jurisdiction, will enter Hyderabad City limits at Champapet and join the main procession at DM&HS Women’s Junction, after passing through Champapet X Rd, IS Sadan, Dhobhighat, ACP off Malakpet, Saidabad Colony Road, Shankeshwar Bazar, Saroor Nagar Tank, Rajiv Gandhi Statue Dilsukhnagar, Moosaram Bagh Junction, Malakpet, Nalgonda X Road, and Azampura Rotary. This tributary procession covers 10.8 kilometers before joining the main procession.
The traffic will be either stopped or diverted at various locations during the procession. The notification aims to facilitate proper regulation of traffic and prevent danger and inconvenience to the public.
