Gotkur and Brahmanapalli villagers recently met with youth leader Lokesh in the Uravakonda constituency to discuss their problems. Among the issues raised were the lack of nutritious food for children due to the absence of an Anganwadi school, the absence of an elementary school for children from 1st to 5th standard, and serious difficulties faced by children in school. Other issues included the absence of a drainage facility in BC Colony, the lack of a hospital for emergency treatment, and the fact that no house titles have been issued for Jagananna Colony in Survey No. 236 of Gotkur.
In response, youth leader Lokesh criticized the current government, stating that they have neglected villages fighting for progress. He accused the government of stealing Rs.7,880 crore belonging to local bodies and failing to provide funds for the development of panchayats. Lokesh claimed that during his tenure as Panchayati Raj Minister, he laid 25,000 kilometers of cement roads in villages and constructed LED street lights in every village, along with a toilet for every house.
Lokesh promised that if the TDP comes to power, they will work to solve the problems faced by the residents of Gotkur and Brahmanapalli. He criticized the current government’s lack of intention to make improvements and stated that the TDP government would address the concerns of the villagers. The issue of land ownership being stayed in court for Jagananna Colony was also brought to the attention of RDO and MMARO, who reportedly ignored the matter
