Puli Devender, a Senior Advocate, has been elected as the Secretary of the Telangana High Court Bar Association, winning by a majority of 100 votes against his closest competitor, Shantibhushan. In the recent elections, seven candidates vied for the Secretary position, and Devender emerged victorious by securing 1226 votes.


The newly elected executive committee of the Telangana High Court Advocates’ Association assumed their positions on Tuesday. The team, led by the new President Palle Nageswara Rao, received congratulatory messages from Chief Justice Ujjal Bhuyan and Justices P Naveen Rao, B Vijaysen Reddy, and J Srinivas Rao. The other elected members are Vice-President C Kalyan Rao, Secretaries Katta Pradeep Reddy and Puli Devender, Joint Secretary Byreddy Srinivas, Treasurer Vangala Poornasri, Sports and Cultural Secretary Sharada Kata-kam, Senior Executive Members Srinivasa Rao Kallaku-ri, Naguluri Krishna Kumar, and Chinthala Sunitha Kumari, and Executive Members Bodigala Sharada, Akula Saidulu, Harinder Singh, Velmula Bharath Kumar, and Vasa Chaitanya Latha.
