Hyderabad, April 9: BRS senior leader Dr Dasoju Sravan hailed Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) as the true champion of Minorities, stating that KCR has been striving for their wholesome development in the state. Speaking at an Athmeeya Sammelan held in Old City, Hyderabad, Dr Sravan stressed that KCR has been assiduously protecting the ‘Ganga Jamuna Tehzeeb’ of Telangana and appealed to people not to fall for BJP’s communal tactics.
“KCR has implemented various schemes like Shaadi Mubarak, Minorities Gurukuls, financial assistance to Minorities through schemes like ‘Own Your Auto’, ‘Driver Empowerment scheme’, subsidized loans, scholarships for Minorities students and other initiatives,” said Dr Dasoju Sravan.
He further added, “Through Shaadi Mubarak scheme alone, KCR has helped more than 2.28 lakh Minorities girls by offering Rs 1,00,016 to each, by spending about Rs 2,165 Cr till now. No other CM in the history of India has done this. Besides schemes, KCR has also been generously allocating funds for Minorities welfare and Old City development. Minorities are living happily under KCR’s rule.”
Dr Dasoju Sravan also commended KCR for his efforts in protecting the ‘Ganga Jamuna Tehzeeb’ of Telangana and ensuring the safety of Minorities in the state. He criticized the BJP for trying to create communal tensions with their narrow mindset.
“Unable to digest the prosperity and harmony prevailing in Telangana under KCR’s rule, BJP is trying to create communal tensions with their crooked tactics,” said Dr Dasoju Sravan.
Earlier in the day, Dr Dasoju Sravan also participated in the Athmeeya Sammelan held at Amberpet under the supervision of MLA Kaleru Venkatesh.
