Hyderabad, April 13: A tragic incident occurred in Sheikhpet area of Hyderabad in the early hours of Thursday, as three young individuals lost their lives due to electrocution while attempting to repair a broken water pump motor at their residence. The deceased were identified as two brothers, Anas (19) and Rizwan (18), and their friend, also named Rizwan (18).
According to the police, Anas had called an electrician to fix the broken water pump motor, but the electrician had left midway without completing the repair. In an attempt to resolve the issue, Anas got into the sump to fix the motor. However, he failed to notice that a live wire had snapped and fallen into the water. As a result, he suffered electrocution. When Rizwan tried to save his brother, he too suffered electrocution.
Their neighbor, Rizwan, rushed to their aid, but he also suffered electrocution and lost his life. This unfortunate incident has left the two families in shock during the holy month of Ramzan. The police have transferred the bodies to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem examinations.
