Women Given Preference

Hyderabad, April 21: The Telangana Residential Education Recruitment Board has released a notification to fill 1276 vacant positions for post-graduate teachers in Gurukula Educational Institutions across the state. The notification specifies that 966 of the 1276 positions have been reserved for women. Out of these posts, 346 belong to SC Welfare, 147 to Tribal Welfare, and 786 to BC Welfare Gurukula. The application process will begin on the 24th of this month and continue until the 24th of next month.

The recruitment board has also announced that the examination procedure will consist of three papers, with Paper One in Telugu, Paper Two in English, and Paper Three in English Medium. The written exam will be conducted offline in an objective manner. The board has removed the system of demo classes for these exams.

The recruitment drive aims to fill 157 posts of SC Welfare Boys Gurukula, 186 posts of Girls Gurukula, 82 posts of General in Tribal Welfare, 65 posts of Girls in Tribal Welfare, 387 posts of General Gurukula, and 399 posts of Girls Gurukula. Women have been given preference with the allocation of 966 posts, while the remaining 310 positions will be filled under the general quota.

Interested candidates are advised to carefully read the notification and apply online between the specified dates.
