Jammu, May 9, 2023: The Maha Samprokshana ritual in Sri Venkateswara temple at Jammu will take place on June 8, as announced by TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy. He also stated that from now on, devotees who visit Mata Vaishno Devi in Katra will have the blessings of Bhagawan Sri Balaji Venkateswara. The TTD board chief, along with officials of TTD and District Police administration, inspected Lord Sri Venkateswara (Balaji) temple at Majeen in Jammu on Tuesday.

TTD has constructed Lord Sri Venkateswara temples across various cities, including Visakhapatnam, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bhuvneshwar, with temples coming up in Mumbai, Raipur, and Ahmedabad in the near future. In addition, Lord Venkateswara (Balaji) temples have been constructed in remote areas like Seetampeta and Rampachodavaram in Andhra Pradesh to spread Hindu Sanatana Dharma Prachara to the grassroots level.

The Government of Jammu has allotted over 62 acres of land for the construction of the Sri Venkateswara temple, which was built at a cost of Rs. 30 crores. The temple comprises sub-shrines, a Potu-kitchen area, Annaprasadam counter, parking lot, landscapes, and other facilities.

The Maha Samprokshanam will take place from June 4 to June 8, with Ankurarpanam on June 3. On June 8, Vigraha Pratistha, Maha Samprokshanam will be performed in the auspicious time. Devotees will be allowed for Lord’s darshan from 12 noon onwards on June 8th, and round the clock security has been requested from the Government of Jammu since the temple is located away from the city.

The Local Advisory Committee Chairman of Delhi, Smt. Vemi Reddy Prasanti Reddy, Joint Executive Officer of TTD Sri Veerabrahmam IAS, Chief Vigilance & Security Officer Sri Narasimha Kishore, IPS, local SP of Jammu Sri Rahul, TTD Chief Engineer Sri Nageswara Rao, SE Sri Satyanarayana, SE electrical Sri Venkateswarulu, EE Sri Sudhakar, TTD PRO Dr. T Ravi, VGO Manohar, District Administration and Police officers, and others were present during the inspection.
