
New York, May 18: IT and Industries Minister KTR (Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao) attended an investor roundtable meeting in New York, jointly hosted by the Consulate General of India in New York and the US India Strategic Partnership Forum. During the roundtable, Minister KTR expressed his strong connection with New York City, where he had studied and worked. He presented Telangana as an ideal investment destination, emphasizing the state’s abundant resources for establishing various businesses.

With its progressive industry-friendly policies and a robust innovation ecosystem, Telangana offers a wide range of opportunities across its 14 priority sectors. Minister KTR conveyed that Telangana is prepared to serve as the gateway for investors choosing India as their destination. The Indian Consul General, Mr. Randhir Jaiswal, acknowledged the growing significance of Telangana and Hyderabad in global business conversations. He praised Minister KTR’s exceptional dynamism and highlighted Hyderabad’s pioneering initiatives.
The meeting was also attended by the Principal Secretary of IT and Industries Departments, Jayesh Ranjan, the Special Secretary of Investment Promotion & NRI Affairs, E Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, Chief Resident Officer of Telangana, Amarat Makuri, among others.
