Telangana’s 10th Anniversary: KCR Nutrition Kits Distribution Commences
Hyderabad, May 23, 2024 – As part of Telangana’s 10th anniversary formation day celebrations, the Health Department is launching the state-wide distribution of the KCR Nutrition Kits scheme. Led by Chief Minister KCR, the initiative aims to provide comprehensive care to 6.84 lakh women in the state. The Finance and Health Minister, Harish Rao, ensured meticulous preparations for the distribution through a video conference with District Collectors and Medical Officers. The kits, valued at Rs. 2,000 each, contain essential components to enhance maternal and child care. The program signifies the government’s commitment to the well-being of expectant mothers and their unborn children. In addition, Minister Harish Rao highlighted the successful eye screening campaign and emphasized the government’s dedication to fortifying primary care by expediting the opening of healthcare centers.
