Hyderabad, July 14: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader Dasoju Sravan has filed a police complaint against individuals claiming to be followers of Telangana Congress president A. Revanth Reddy, alleging threatening calls.
Sravan, who is the BRS incharge for Hyderabad district, lodged the complaint with the Cyber Crime police station on Friday. He reported receiving repeated calls late Thursday night, during which the callers used abusive language, threatened severe consequences for criticizing Revanth Reddy, and even mentioned the possibility of harming Sravan.

Expressing concern over the culture of intimidation and rowdy politics promoted by Revanth Reddy, Sravan demanded a thorough investigation to identify and hold the culprits accountable for their actions.
“This is not the first time Revanth Reddy has employed such tactics, as he has previously targeted senior party members like V Hanumanth Rao, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Jagga Reddy, and others through his henchmen,” noted Sravan, who was formerly associated with the Congress party.
Sravan affirmed his commitment to fighting for democracy and justice, asserting that he would not be deterred by these rowdy politics.
Dr Dasoju Sravan, a senior leader of BRS, has accused TPCC president Revanth Reddy of resorting to rowdyism and turning Telangana Congress into a “Dandupalya batch.” He filed a complaint with Cyber Crime Police against alleged goons claiming to be supporters of Revanth Reddy. Dr Sravan stated that he has been receiving threatening and harassing phone calls from these individuals, causing distress to him, his family, team members, and supporters. He criticized Revanth Reddy for resorting to such tactics instead of engaging in responsible political discourse. Dr Sravan also highlighted CM KCR’s achievements in transforming the lives of Telangana farmers and accused Revanth Reddy of misleading them with baseless allegations.
KTR responded on Twitter
K.T. Rama Rao, the working president of BRS, responded to Sravan’s complaint on social media and urged Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali and Director General of Police Anjani Kumar to take swift and stern action in accordance with the law.
Expressing disappointment, KTR stated, “It’s truly unfortunate that Scamgress now has been handed over to a thug in Telangana who is resorting to open threats.”
In response, Mahmood Ali assured KTR that appropriate action would be taken as per the law.
