ATA Board, Executive Committee Members 2023-=2024
Madhu Bommineni has taken charge as the new president of the American Telugu Association (ATA). She took charge as the new president from current president Bhuvanesh Bhujala at the ATA board meeting held at The Mirage in Las Vegas. The meeting was attended by ATA directors, advisors, past presidents, standing committee members, and other representatives from all over the US.
Elections were held for 16 Board of Trustees positions in ATA in January 2023. The elected members will hold office for four years. Anil Boddireddy, Sunny Reddy, Kiran Paasham, Kishore Guduru, Mahider Muskula, Narsireddy Gaddikoppula, Ramakrishna Reddy Ala, Raju Kakkerla, Sai Sudhini, Srikanth Gudipati, Narsimha Reddy Dhyasani, Raghuveer Maripeddi, Sainath Boyapalli, Satish Reddy, Srinivas Dargula, Vinod Kodoosteeru Board of Trustees Elected as members. The ATA Board unanimously elected Jayant Challa as the incoming President.
Hailing from North Carolina, Madhu Bommineni has been active in ‘ATA’ since 2004 and has served in various capacities such as ATA Secretary, Joint Secretary, Executive Director.
Madhu Bommineni, the new president, shared the details of the future goals and ATA road map. she said that all ATA members should take the lead in community service with commitment, unity and responsibility. Ata will adhere to the basic objectives of promoting literacy, cultural, educational and social programs. Madhu Bommineni said that special attention will be given to the participation of the youth. she said that special attention will be given to promoting women leadership and expanding the activities of ATA. Promoting literary and cultural programs, increasing participation in service programs, enabling ATA SEVA to manage more efficiently with required resources, along with student services, information and health services programs will be given more priority during his tenure. Madhu Bommine congratulated President Bhuvanesh Bhujala and members for their service to ‘ATA’ for the past two years.
