New Delhi, Aug 14: In a heartwarming gesture, 50 nurses along with their families from across the nation have been extended a special invitation to attend the Independence Day festivities at the iconic Red Fort in New Delhi.
Among the 1,800 esteemed special guests representing diverse spheres of society, including village Sarpanches, educators, farmers, and fishermen, the 50 nurses and their families hold a prominent place in the celebration.
In the comprehensive list of special invitees, over 400 Sarpanches hailing from more than 660 vibrant villages, 250 participants affiliated with the Farmer Producer Organisations initiative, 50 beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme and the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana each, as well as 50 dedicated Central Vista Project construction workers, including those contributing to the New Parliament Building, are scheduled to partake in the event, as shared by the Health and Family Welfare Ministry on Monday.
