Dr. Sravan Dasoju, a prominent figure in Telangana, has recently raised concerns about the SC & ST declaration made by the Telangana Congress committee. He has labeled this declaration as a collection of inconsistencies and a reflection of political desperation. In a statement, he indicated that Kharge, the President of the Indian National Congress (INC), might not be fully aware of the efforts undertaken by Chief Minister KCR to empower SC & ST communities.

Dasoju pointed out that Kharge might not have been adequately informed by Anumula Revanth, a key leader in the Telangana Congress, and Sunil Kanugole, a notable election strategist, regarding the progressive measures enacted by KCR’s administration to uplift SC & ST individuals.

One noteworthy example provided by Dasoju was the allocation of land ownership titles, known as “Pattas,” to the parents of Seethakka MLA, a leader in the Mahila Congress. He shared that these land titles were bestowed upon families in recognition of their podu lands, showcasing a tangible commitment by the Telangana government towards SC & ST empowerment. To support his claim, Dasoju even attached a photograph as reference.

Additionally, Dasoju highlighted the ongoing distribution of 4,01,405 acres of Podu lands to 150,224 adivasis across 2,845 tribal hamlets, indicating the substantial progress made by the BRS government, led by Chief Minister KCR. He compared the SC/ST declaration to celebratory drumming after a wedding, suggesting that the actions and results speak louder than mere declarations.

In a compelling call to action, Dr. Sravan Dasoju challenged Kharge to translate his words into action by implementing similar initiatives in Congress-governed states, particularly in Karnataka. He emphasized the importance of walking the talk rather than resorting to hollow declarations.

Dasoju also revealed his intention to send a comprehensive letter to Kharge, elaborating on the commendable efforts undertaken by the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) to empower Dalits and Tribals in the region. He indicated that this correspondence would not only shed light on Telangana’s commitment to inclusivity but also expose the purported attempt by Revanth Congress to mislead and manipulate the people of Telangana.
