Bengaluru, August 29, 2023: Superstar Rajinikanth made an unexpected and heartwarming visit on Tuesday to the Jayanagar Bus Depot, affiliated with the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), where he once worked as a conductor before embarking on his illustrious acting career.

Accompanied by his close friend Raj Bahadur, who played a pivotal role in inspiring him to pursue acting, Rajinikanth stepped into the depot where both had toiled in their earlier years.

Born Shivajirao Gayakwad into a Marathi family, Rajinikanth served as a conductor, while Raj Bahadur operated as a BMTC bus driver.

During his visit, Rajinikanth shared quality moments with the depot’s staff, engaging in conversations with conductors, drivers, mechanics, and other BMTC personnel. He took a leisurely stroll through the depot, undoubtedly flooded with nostalgia from days gone by.

The staff, taken by surprise, couldn’t contain their excitement and enthusiastically cheered for the beloved superstar. They were overjoyed to snap photographs with him and were deeply appreciative of his unassuming nature.

Rajinikanth graciously accommodated requests for photographs and selfies, showcasing his genuine and down-to-earth demeanor.

His recent movie, ‘Jailer,’ has garnered acclaim as an all-time blockbuster. Rajinikanth is known to visit Bengaluru periodically, where he enjoys quality time with old friends.

Sources suggest that he even frequents a local bar incognito during his visits, relishing the simplicity and charm of these outings.
