Cupertino, California, September 13 – Apple unveiled its highly-anticipated next-generation iPhone series today, introducing four new models: the iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max, all boasting cutting-edge features. In a first, the ‘Make in India’ iPhone 15 will be accessible on the global market from September 22.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, available in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch display sizes, will come in vibrant finishes including pink, yellow, green, blue, and black. Storage options range from 128GB to 512GB, with prices starting at Rs 79,900 and Rs 89,900, respectively.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, also featuring 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays, will be offered in sleek titanium finishes: black, white, blue, and natural. Storage choices encompass 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and a whopping 1TB. Pricing for the iPhone 15 Pro starts at Rs 134,900, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max begins at Rs 159,900.

Pre-orders for these new iPhone models will commence on September 15 in over 40 countries, including India, with the devices hitting the market on September 22.

These devices boast a robust yet lightweight titanium design, complete with new contoured edges, an innovative Action button, enhanced camera capabilities, and the powerful A17 Pro chip, delivering outstanding performance and mobile gaming experiences. According to Greg Joswiak, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, this marks the most advanced pro lineup ever created.

The customizable Action button allows users to tailor their iPhone experience, while the A17 Pro chip elevates gaming and performance to unprecedented levels. The inclusion of a new USB‑C connector, featuring USB 3 speeds up to 20 times faster than USB 2, and support for new video formats, opens the door to powerful pro workflows previously unattainable.

The premium titanium construction of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max results in Apple’s lightest Pro lineup ever, thanks to its remarkable strength-to-weight ratio.

In contrast, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus sport an industry-first color-infused back glass with a textured matte finish and a newly designed contoured edge. These models feature the Dynamic Island and an advanced camera system that excels in capturing everyday moments, particularly in low-light conditions.

The iPhone 15 lineup introduces the next generation of portraits, enhancing detail and performance, making portrait photography even more accessible.

Apple also announced the Apple Watch Series 9, equipped with the new S9 chip, double-tap gesture, a brighter display, faster on-device Siri, Precision Finding for iPhone, and more. Prices for the Apple Watch Series 9 start at Rs 41,900, while the Apple Watch SE begins at Rs 29,900, with availability in stores commencing on September 22.

The Apple Watch Series 9 is available in various sizes and finishes, including starlight, midnight, silver, (PRODUCT)RED, and a new pink aluminum case, as well as stainless steel in gold, silver, and graphite.

Apple’s commitment to sustainability was also emphasized, with Lisa Jackson, Apple’s Vice President of Environment, Policy, and Social Initiatives, highlighting progress towards their Apple 2030 goal.
