MP Shrikant Eknath Shinde shared a personal connection, recounting how he had sought suggestions from N. Chandrababu Naidu for the state’s development when his father, Eknath Shinde, assumed the role of Chief Minister. He commended Chandrababu Naidu’s role in developing Hyderabad, hailing it as a model for other leaders to follow. Expressing his discontent, Shinde emphasized that the unlawful arrest of such a visionary leader on false charges is detrimental to the democratic system.
Meanwhile, BJD floor leader MP Pinaki Mishra reminisced about the strong relationship between Chandrababu Naidu and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, underscoring the significance of Naidu’s contributions to the region.
This show of solidarity across political boundaries underscores the shared concern about the arrest and its potential ramifications on democratic principles.
