Lucknow, October 19: The Union Home Ministry has officially granted approval under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) to Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. This approval will enable the trust to receive financial contributions from abroad for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, as confirmed by Ministry officials.
Champat Rai, the General Secretary of the Trust, shared the news on X, stating, “The Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra has been approved by the FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, to receive voluntary contributions under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 2010.”
The Trust has outlined that contributions can be directed to a designated bank account at the SBI’s 11 Sansad Marg branch in New Delhi. To ensure compliance, they emphasized that “no such contributions shall be accepted in any branch or any other account of the Trust.”
The consecration ceremony for the temple is anticipated to occur in January of the following year.
