Congress Party Promises Two Lakh Jobs in Next Legislative Elections, Addresses Unemployment Concerns

Dr. B. Murali Naik, addressing the ‘Unemployment Gosa’ conference, declared the Congress Party’s commitment to creating two lakh jobs after winning the next legislative elections. The conference, led by Kammagani Krishnamurthy, took place at the Congress Party camp office, chaired by Shantan Ramaraju, on Sunday night. Key attendees included Congress party Mahabubabad constituency Congress contested candidate Dr. B. Murali Naik.

Dr. Naik expressed concern over the ten-year reign of the “demon rule” in Telangana, noting that unemployed youth were facing severe financial difficulties and even resorting to suicide. He emphasized that the promise of replacing two lakh jobs upon coming to power had remained unfulfilled, and urged action to address the issue.

The Congress Party assured that, upon assuming power, they would fill SC, ST, BC, and minority backlog posts and implement a job calendar for vacant positions across various departments by June 2. The commitment was made to complete job creation by September 17, Telangana Liberation Day.

Additional measures included establishing employment exchanges in every district center and organizing skill development programs to enhance the professional skills of the youth. The Congress Party also pledged to enact legislation ensuring that 75% of jobs in private companies receiving government subsidies would be reserved for the youth of Telangana. Furthermore, they promised 100% incentives for the youth in fields such as education and medicine.

Dr. Naik expressed hope that the victory of the Congress Party would bring an end to corruption, tyranny, and intimidation. He called upon unemployed youth to join hands and take action to address their concerns.

The conference saw the participation of prominent figures, including former Municipal Chairperson Uma Murali Nayak, leaders of Mahabubabad, and activists dedicated to addressing the unemployment issue.

Participants in the event included Kankara Ayyappa Reddy, Narayan Singh, Nomula Tirupati Reddy, Gangadari Balaraju, Ambala Rajasekhar, Kharate Kaja, Ganapara, Yasin, Raghu, Neela, Rajita, Shirisha, Upender, Suresh, Vishal, Dasaiah, Venkanna, Vasima, Prabhavathi, Arpita, Navya, Chaitanya, Renuka, Sunita, and others.
