In a recent interview Dr. Kurava Vijaykumar, a former member of the PCC campaign committee, made some startling allegations against PCC president Revanth Reddy. Vijaykumar claimed that Revanth Reddy had sold tickets for hundreds of crores and had a hand in transactions involving land transfers for seat allocations. He went on to state that it’s not merely accusations but facts.
Vijaykumar further revealed that he had reported threats to his life from Revanth Reddy and his followers, citing threatening calls and suspicious individuals near his residence. When asked if the Congress party in the state had revived due to Revanth, he dismissed the idea, attributing the party’s resurgence to other factors such as the political landscape, Rahul Gandhi’s visits, and by-elections.
The interviewee expressed doubts about people’s belief in Revanth Reddy, stating that many who had returned to the Congress party were still skeptical of him. He warned against trusting Revanth Reddy’s promises and accused him of betraying his own party for financial gain.
When asked about the news that Revanth Reddy might transform Congress into another TDP, Vijaykumar alleged that Revanth, as a trained worker of RSS, might merge Congress with TDP or even create a new party based on the election results.
Critiquing the PCC president, Vijaykumar likened Revanth Reddy to Bhasmasura, capable of using and trampling anyone to achieve his goals. He lamented the lack of criticism and opposition within the party.
Responding to a question about his motivations, Vijaykumar stated that he had no personal vendetta and that his concerns were rooted in the injustice he perceived within the party. He warned the people of Telangana not to blindly trust Revanth Reddy and his words, claiming that doing so could lead to disastrous consequences.
