Telangana Congress Party Unveils Ambitious Manifesto for 2023 Assembly Elections

In a bid to address the diverse needs of the people, the Telangana Congress Party has unveiled a comprehensive manifesto featuring six key guarantees and additional highlights. The manifesto, titled “Congress 6 Card of Guarantees,” outlines the following key promises:

  1. Mahalakshmi Guarantee: Women to receive Rs. 2500 per month, along with free travel in RTC buses equipped with 500k gas cylinders.
  2. Rythu Bharosa: Farmers and tenant farmers to receive Rs. per acre annually, including bonuses for farm laborers and paddy crop.
  3. Griha Jyoti: Each household entitled to 200 units of free electricity.
  4. Indiramma Houses: Homeless to receive house land, activists to get Rs. 5 lakhs and 250 sq.m. of home space.
  5. Youth Development: Students to benefit from a Rs. 5 lakh education insurance card, and Telangana International Schools to be established in every mandal.
  6. Support: A monthly pension of Rs. 4000, along with Rs. 10 lakh Rajiv Arogyasree Bhima.

In addition to these guarantees, the manifesto highlights several promises, including the establishment of democratic administration, daily “Praja Darbar” at the Chief Minister’s camp office, and a monthly honorary pension of Rs. 25000, coupled with government job opportunities for a family member.

The Congress Party pledges to withdraw cases against Telangana activists, waive off Rs. 2 lakh crop loans for farmers, and provide interest-free crop loans up to Rs. 3 lakhs. The manifesto also addresses issues such as education, healthcare, land reforms, and social welfare, reflecting a holistic approach to governance.

The party commits to a transparent and efficient governance system, promising to fill vacant teaching posts, release an annual job calendar, and increase the education budget share from 6% to 15%. Other initiatives include free Wi-Fi for students, increased salaries for mid-day workers, and reopening of closed schools with improved facilities.

The manifesto further outlines plans for infrastructure development, judicial inquiries into key projects, and increased support for various communities, including SCs, BCs, and minorities. The Congress Party aims to address issues ranging from employment and education to healthcare and social security, presenting a comprehensive vision for the state’s development.
