Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy: A Servant, Not a Ruler

Telangana, December 7: Anumula Revanth Reddy, the newly sworn-in Chief Minister of Telangana, declared a commitment to serve as a public servant rather than a ruler. In a public address at LB Stadium, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed gratitude to the people and emphasized that justice would be served to the families of students, the unemployed, and martyrs.

Underlining the significance of the newly established public government, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy invited the people of Telangana to actively participate and share their ideas with the government at Jyoti Rao Phule Praja Bhavan during the Praja Darbar scheduled for tomorrow.

In his address, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reflected on the historical struggles and sacrifices that led to the formation of Telangana. He acknowledged the instrumental role of Congress party and Sonia Gandhi in realizing the idea of equal development across the state.

Emphasizing a shift from despotic rule, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy assured the people that he would work as a servant, not a ruler. He pledged to take care of Congress workers and vowed to maintain peace and security in Telangana while focusing on the welfare and development of the region.

As a symbolic gesture, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy broke the iron fences surrounding Pragati Bhavan, emphasizing the government’s commitment to transparency and people-centric governance. He announced a public meeting at Jyoti Rao Poole Praja Bhavan, asserting that the government sees the people as partners, not subjects.

In a significant move, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy signed files related to the implementation of the Congress party’s election manifesto promises, including the first file on six guarantees and the second on job appointment for Rajini, a disabled individual.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, after taking the oath, proceeded to the Secretariat where he was warmly welcomed by Chief Secretary Shantikumari. The Chief Minister, along with Congress leaders and workers, is poised to embark on a new chapter, emphasizing a servant-leader approach in governance.
