Telangana Cabinet Decisions: Aru Guarantees, Power Supply, and Welfare Initiatives Announced
Telangana, December 7: In a recent Cabinet meeting, chaired by Minister Shridhar Babu, significant decisions were made addressing key aspects of governance and welfare in the state.
The Aru Guarantee Law took center stage during the lengthy discussion, with the Cabinet expressing gratitude to the people of Telangana. The meeting delved into the state’s financial conditions from 2014 to December 7, 2023. To ensure transparency, authorities have been instructed to release a white paper detailing the expenditure of funds across all departments during this period.
Two guarantees under the Six Guarantees initiative are set to be implemented, with Cabinet approval granted on the occasion of Sonia Gandhi’s birthday. Notably, the Cabinet has taken steps to provide 24 hours of electricity to farmers and industries, addressing concerns and planning lapses in the electricity sector dating back to 2014.
The upcoming oath-taking ceremony for new MLAs on the 9th will mark significant announcements, including free bus travel for women and the implementation of the Rajiv Arogya Shree with a guarantee of 10 lakh.
In an effort to address concerns about crop damage due to rain, ministers of affected districts, such as Ellundi, have taken responsibility. Additionally, discussions on Group-1 and 2 matters were initiated in the cabinet, with decisions expected in the coming days.
Minister Ponnam Prabhakar emphasized that all elder sisters can enjoy free bus travel, showcasing a commitment to inclusive and accessible public services.
