Hyderabad December 09

In a significant announcement at the Hyderabad assembly on December 9th, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy celebrated the festival day for the people of Telangana. Reflecting on the inception of Telangana on December 9, 2009, he acknowledged the pivotal role played by Soniamma, often regarded as the Mother of Telangana.

Soniamma, instrumental in shaping Telangana’s identity, granted the community the opportunity to proudly proclaim, “I am Telangana.” Out of the six guarantees she provided for the people, the government has now assumed responsibility for implementing two key assurances.

Under the Arogyashree initiative, the government is set to offer free medical treatment, covering expenses up to Rs. 10 lakh. Additionally, a noteworthy development is the newfound freedom for women to travel across the state without constraints.

Looking ahead, the Chief Minister outlined an ambitious plan to fulfill all six guarantees within the next 100 days. The ultimate goal is to transform Telangana into a welfare state, ensuring the well-being and prosperity of its citizens.
