Hyderabad, February15
A major fire broke out in a godown located in the Puranapul area of Hyderabad. The blaze reportedly spread to a nearby furniture shop, causing concern for nearby residents. The incident occurred in the Ziaguda area under the Kulsumpura police station limits.
Upon observing smoke billowing from the godown, locals immediately alerted the police control room. Six fire tenders were dispatched to the scene to tackle the flames, with an additional two tenders called in for backup.
The local police, along with the firefighters, worked to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading further. the swift response from the authorities helped to minimize the impact of the fire.
The godown is believed to have been used for storing decorative items, and the exact cause of the fire has yet to be ascertained. Fire accidents have been happening in the state recently.
