GITAM Deemed to be University, a prominent educational institution in Hyderabad, expresses its eagerness to collaborate with partners aiming to pioneer new ideas and initiatives in education. Sri Bharat M, President of GITAM, made this announcement during the ‘India’s Educational Leadership Confluences’ program held at the university on Wednesday.

Addressing principals from CBSE Schools and Junior Colleges across India virtually, Sri Bharat emphasized the necessity for universities to adapt to rapid technological advancements, particularly in Artificial Intelligence. He underscored the university’s commitment to investing deeply in research, top-notch faculty, advanced classrooms, and fostering a progressive policy environment. Sri Bharat encouraged students to aspire to greater achievements.

As a testament to their dedication to educational excellence, GITAM welcomes educational leaders to explore their research facilities, particularly the Kautilya School of Public Policy, offering a master’s program in public policy. Sri Bharat urged schools to replicate GITAM’s initiatives in their own institutions.

The event featured panels and discussions exploring innovative approaches to integrating Liberal Arts and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in higher education. Renowned speakers, including Lakshmi Annapurna Chintaluri, Co-Founder of EMI Services India, shared insights on fostering innovation in higher education.

Prof. D.S. Rao, Pro Vice-Chancellor of GITAM, Hyderabad, delivered the welcome address and announced the launch of a free summer school program for students. The event also witnessed the participation of esteemed faculty members and directors from various schools.

The program concluded with a delightful lunch, leaving participants highly satisfied with the insights gained at the Educational Leadership Confluence.
