Hyderabad, December 14:
Today, Hon’ble Minister for Industries and IT, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, assumed office at the BR Ambedkar Secretariat, promptly addressing long-standing demands from stakeholders in the IT and Industries sectors. Upon assuming charge, the Minister wasted no time and swiftly signed three pivotal files.

His first significant move is to craft an exclusive policy for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), emphasizing the establishment of an institutional mechanism to guide and support these enterprises—a crucial element in the state’s industrial growth and employment creation.

The second initiative focuses on the creation of an online platform for filing Right to Information (RTI) applications. This development, applicable across departments, addresses concerns raised by RTI activists and civil society. The move aligns with practices already implemented in several other states, aiming to enhance accountability and transparency in government operations.

The third initiative centers on the integration of digital technologies across all government departments and agencies. A comprehensive study will promptly assess the readiness of each department and identify opportunities for leveraging digital tools to enhance public service delivery and departmental efficiency.

Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu’s proactive approach underscores a commitment to ushering in positive change, fostering growth, and ensuring greater transparency within the state’s administrative framework.
