*CERT-IN Identifies Security Flaws in Apple Devices: Urgent Update Advised* New Delhi, Dec 16 – The Computer Emergency Response Team of India (CERT-IN), known for recently exposing defects in Samsung phones, has now pinpointed security vulnerabilities in Apple’s lineup, including iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, MacBooks, Apple TV OS, and the Safari browser.

The identified flaws pose a significant risk, potentially exploited by hackers to compromise critical user information, according to CERT-IN. These vulnerabilities make it easier for malicious actors to circumvent the security features of Apple’s products.

For users with iPhone iOS and iPad OS versions earlier than 17.2 and 16.7.3, respectively, along with MacBook OS Sonoma 14.2, Ventura 13.6.3, and Monitory versions earlier than 12.7.2, immediate attention is advised. Additionally, users with Apple TV OS 17.2, Apple Watch OS 10.2, and Safari browser versions prior to 17.2 should promptly update their operating systems to the latest versions.

CERT-IN has alerted Apple users to the potential risks associated with these security flaws and strongly recommends applying the latest updates to enhance the security of their devices. Stay protected by keeping your Apple devices up to date with the most recent software versions.
