BRS Leader Urges CM Revanth Reddy to Release White Paper on Future Plans for Telangana
Hyderabad, December 22: Dr. Dasoju Sravan, a senior leader of BRS, has called upon Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to release a White Paper detailing future development plans for Telangana and the welfare of its communities. In an open letter to the Chief Minister, Dr. Sravan criticized the expenditure of crores of rupees on Assembly sessions to release White Papers aimed at defaming the previous BRS government.
Dr. Sravan emphasized the need for a positive and forward-looking approach, urging the government to focus on future development plans rather than engaging in politically charged activities. He accused the Congress Government of divisive politics by releasing White Papers with misleading information targeting the previous KCR-led government.
The letter highlighted the commitment of the BRS party to work constructively as the opposition, pledging support to implement the promises made by the Congress party during the elections. Dr. Sravan urged the current government to recognize the achievements and public wealth accumulated during KCR’s tenure, cautioning that the current approach might deter future industrial investments in the state.
He also called for a shift in administrative priorities, citing concerns about halted projects like Dharani, the Raidurgam-Airport Metro project, and the pharma city. Dr. Sravan urged the Chief Minister to align administrative decisions with the promises made during the election campaign, particularly focusing on unemployment benefits.
Highlighting Telangana’s fiscal achievements, Dr. Sravan defended the need for loans in the state’s early years, citing rapid development and investments as legitimate reasons for borrowing. He appealed to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to release a white paper outlining future development plans for Telangana and the welfare of its communities.
