Beijing, Dec 31: The death toll from the 6.2-magnitude earthquake that struck northwest China on December 18 has climbed to 151, according to official sources on Sunday.

The provincial earthquake relief headquarters reported that the death toll in Qinghai reached 34 on Sunday, as the last two individuals who were previously unaccounted for after the earthquake were discovered deceased, as per Xinhua news agency.

Authorities in Gansu had confirmed on December 22 that the temblor resulted in the deaths of 117 people.
