In a remarkable achievement, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched the PSLV-C58 rocket, celebrating success in the first space mission of 2024. The elated ISRO scientists in Andhra Pradesh’s Sriharikota commemorated the flawless launch.

The focal point of this mission was the deployment of the EXPOSAT satellite, weighing 480 kg, into orbit. This pioneering satellite, equipped with advanced technology, aims to conduct extensive studies using polarimetry, making it India’s inaugural mission in this field.

The PSLV rocket flawlessly carried the EXPOSAT satellite into space, with the experiment lasting 21 minutes. The satellite, designed for a lifespan of five years, will play a pivotal role in studying X-rays, marking a significant leap in India’s space exploration endeavors.
