Entrepreneur Elon Musk, who kicked off the New Year with the declaration “LFG (let’s freaking go) 2024,” anticipates a year of unprecedented events, hinting at the upcoming US presidential election in November.
In response to a follower suggesting a return to normalcy in 2024 after “4 years of craziness,” Musk responded, “2024 is gonna be even more crazy is my prediction.” Signing off 2023 with “LFG 2024,” Musk acknowledged the potential intensity of the approaching year.
Acknowledging a follower’s comment that “normal is the last thing 2024 will be” due to the presidential election, another follower chimed in, expressing excitement about the election and endorsing Trump for 2024.
The year 2024 is slated to be a historic election year, featuring significant elections in around 70 countries, including the US, India, Mexico, and South Africa. With over 3.7 billion voters participating, the outcomes of these elections are poised to have far-reaching global implications.
Notably, in November, Musk stated that he couldn’t envision voting for President Joe Biden in the 2024 election. Criticizing Biden for favoring General Motors over Tesla, Musk expressed hesitation about voting for Donald Trump, emphasizing the difficulty of the choice. Musk has previously endorsed Indian-origin Vivek Ramaswamy as a “promising candidate” for the 2024 US presidential election. In the 2020 election, Musk cast his vote for Biden.
